That night we had a spectacular performance
at the backside of the ship. Attracted by
the light, millions of small fishes were
swirling in the water. This mass of fish
attracted four huge 'Giant trevallies' who
were feasting for hours on the fish. The big
mouth open, they just swam through the
little ones, who tried to escape by jumping
out of the water. Many of them landed on the
lowest deck and some worked themselves back
in the water. It is remarkable that the
little fish stayed together, so the frenzy
continued all evening.
